Brandon gives up on finding work as a real journalist and joins forces with Steve to launch a lame rag called The Beverly Beat. Kelly faces a tumultuous season when she's shot in a random drive-by and then cheated on by Brandon...and decides on her wedding day that matrimony isn't for her. Donna and David continue their obnoxious roller-coaster of a relationship until Donna dumps him for Noah, then copes with the aftermath of a brief pill-popping addiction. Valerie doesn't do a whole lot except re-hook up with David, get roofied, and possibly contract HIV after David re-dumps her.
