Noah's tormented father ends it all by blowing his head off. Valerie keeps trying to talk to her mother about being abused by her father. Kelly quits her job at the clinic after the foundation announces steep funding cuts. Sophie continues to sponge off of Steve and flirt with David.
Valerie hits the sheets with her future stepfather the night before his wedding. Sophie and David continue to sneak around behind Steve's back. Brandon is invited to interview for a job at TheChronicle.
Kelly and Donna decide to open a boutique, like really suddenly. Noah continues to self medicate and is charged with driving under the influence. Steve finally learns that David and Sophie have been hitting the sheets.
Brandon announces that he got a newspaper job in D.C. and is leaving Beverly Hills for good. Kelly and Donna open their boutique. Michelle Phillips tells Valerie she won't blow the whistle on her for shooting her father.
Valerie calls it quits and moves back to Buffalo just as her replacement, Gina Kincaid, breezes into town. David is accused of statutory rape after he unwittingly beds a teenager. Dylan McKay makes a surprise appearance at the Walsh house on Thanksgiving night.
Gina continues to mess with Donna's relationship with Noah. David's statutory rape accuser agrees to back off, and the DA drops the charges. Dylan tells Kelly he came back to Beverly Hills, 90210 mostly to see her again.
Gina discovers that Dylan is doing heroin and orders him to quit immediately. Kelly and Matt decide they're a full-on couple and hit the sheets. Steve teaches The Art of the Pick-up to a group of hapless men.
Dylan gets arrested after he storms the Marchette mansion, then admits to Gina that he's a heroin addict. Steve goes on Judge Mary when his pupils want a refund after attending his terrible Art of the Pick-up seminar. Donna and Noah throw a barbecue at Casa Martin.
Dylan collapses during heroin withdrawal and finally gets hospitalized. Matt and Gina are miffed when Kelly can't seem to tear herself away from Dylan's bedside. Donna designs a fugly dress for a singer to wear to an awards show.
Matt finds it difficult to choose between Lauren and Kelly. Donna gets mad at Noah (again) and agrees to be David's date for a work party. Steve is alarmed when Janet spots a suspicious looking mole on his shoulder.
Donna dumps Noah when he confesses bumping uglies with Gina. Lauren faces being re-institutionalized when she learns that her schizophrenia meds are killing her. Steve and Janet take two teenagers camping.
Kelly and Dylan travel to Mexico to buy Lauren's meds...but in the end, Lauren decides to stop taking her meds and opts to be re-institutionalized in New York. Steve is miffed when Janet's father won't accept him as her boyfriend.
Felice offers Gina 60K if she agrees to drop her lawsuit. Matt and Kelly gush over each other all episode and decide to become a full-on couple. David searches for love by casting a wide net over the female listeners of his radio show.
Noah cuts a deal to sell the After Dark/Peach Pit building, which Dylan promptly uncuts. Kelly hires a PR consultant, who throws a gala opening to promote the boutique. David is bummed when he learns that Claudia's visa has expired and she must leave the country.
David and Claudia call off their green card wedding and part ways. Donna learns that her drama teacher from West Beverly High is a creepy molester. Dylan and Gina press ahead with their toxic, dysfunctional relationship.
